Work from Home Career Anthology 2025 responsibilities:
Anthology, Inc. is a global educational technology (EdTech) company that
develops software and services for educational institutions. In late 2021,
Anthology merged with Blackboard Inc., the developer of the well-known
learning management system (LMS). In September 2025, Anthology filed for
Chapter 11 bankruptcy to restructure its finances and focus on its core
Blackboard LMS.
- The Ally product's features will be designed, developed, and maintained by you as an associate software engineer.
- Additionally, you will collaborate and communicate across functional boundaries with software and product development teams.
- Using JavaScript for the front end and Scala for the back end, you will be working on an ethical product in this position.
- We utilize Git for version control and operate our apps on the AWS cloud.
- You will collaborate with coworkers worldwide as part of a distributed team.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 0-2 years of relevant professional experience
Preferred skills and Experties:
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript frontend development
- Knowledge of the entire development process; expertise in creating, constructing, testing, delivering, and running applications; familiarity with cloud technologies
- Knowledge of distributed systems and familiarity with backend programming languages (such as Python, JavaScript, and Java)
- An understanding of relational database architecture and query principles
- Being prepared to break things and fix them
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
